Terms & subscriptions
PaperQR is licensed under Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. This page explains the subscription and export experience; it does not replace that agreement.
Free and Pro
Free includes up to 8 saved codes, one image and one text layer per design, selected frames, fonts, and center icons, and PNG export for designs using free features. Pro includes unlimited saved codes, the full design collection, custom center images, additional layers and patterns, advanced QR styling, and PDF and SVG export. Each design supports up to 24 image and text layers.
Pro features can be previewed for free with a watermark. Pro is required to export designs using these features; watermarked Pro previews cannot be exported. Previewing a feature does not start a subscription.
PaperQR Pro subscriptions
Pro offers premium design features and export options while your subscription is active. Available plans, local prices, and billing periods are displayed in the app and Apple’s purchase confirmation before you subscribe.
Payment is charged to your Apple Account. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Manage or cancel your plan in Apple Account subscription settings. Deleting PaperQR does not cancel billing.

Restoring and ending Pro
Use Restore Purchases in PaperQR with the Apple Account used for the purchase. Your exported codes don’t expire when Pro ends. You can still edit free designs and preview Pro features. Existing saved codes remain available even if your library exceeds the free limit. Re-export them as PNG using free features, or restore Pro to export designs using Pro features and PDF or SVG files. A new free save requires fewer than 8 saved codes; delete saved codes to make room.
Your content and exports
Only use content you have the right to use and share. A QR code can expose any information it contains to someone who scans it. Review the encoded information before sharing and test printed codes at their intended size.
QR shapes stay sharp at any size in PDF and SVG exports. Photos, frames, and some artwork keep their original image resolution. Link availability depends on the linked destination. PaperQR does not host or redirect your QR destinations.
